tomorrow i'm going to buy the sharp gx10i (the vodafone live version) and i know the infrared port is blocked.Since i want to tranfer images, ringtones e.t.c from and to the PC, is this possible through the cable or not?

with irda, u cant transfer data. only use it as a modem.
with cable you can transfer pictures, phonebook, messages, unlock and some other eatures. not all. :(
