"Clueless in Seattle"

Actually, I'm not in Seattle, I'm in Spain but I am clueless when it comes to all thiongs mobile.

I have just bought a secondhand philips 535 (it's an UK 02 phone) and a new "Vodafone Spain" SIM card.

The phone is asking me for an NCK code. I have no idea what that is but was told it was the same as the PUK. This is not true, as I have found out. I have looked around and it seems to be the same as a Service Provider lock... is that true?

I could use some help, if anyone has a minute or two to explain what I need to do to get this phone working. I would be very grateful. I just don't get it!
