WHY??? cant i install software?

hey i got a motorola a920 3G phone and the docking software works fine but i cant install software on the phone. It says software is not licensed but the manufatior and then it cancels the install. Why does this hapen? i want to install a IR remote software for my tv set i tryed google for a920 files it says its the same for sonyeriksson but i dont know it seems wierd to me... please reply i need some help here!

I've got the A925, which is the same but with bluetooth apparantly. I've had trouble finding games and software for it too. It is supposed to run any UIQ software, but I've found it won't install most of the stuff available.
