Nokia 7600 - what about Orange?

hehe, so i have been reading about this phone, the hidden menu, the unlocking and stuff... and just got left a little confused

(Btw, it was a 3 contract phone)
so i got it unlocked (cost £10 and the market guy used a standalone clip/flasher thingie... cool!) but i dont see this "hidden menu" (i only lose all signal about once a day, turn it off and on again and its back) so i dont know if its worth it... if it needs to be re-flashed i mean

also, i read the guide on how to send mms, but i am not on the o2 network instead i am on the Orange network (got an old 2G Pay-as-you-go sim) so i assume mms is out of the question for me.. any clarification would be greatly appreciated - and any other info on getting it wapped up :) (though i realise this probly isnt the place, but i phoned orange and they diddnt seem to want to help..)

i have the V03.05 firmware incase that makes a difference. i did have 4.05 (or similar) but after the market guy flashed it, it had the old firmware (at least i can cut that camera shutter noise)
