Try 5555 before you try anything else.

Hey lukey,
you say you read a lot in the forum but you forgot about the rules section where it's clear that posting IMEI numbers or codes is prohibited
If your problem is security code then make a search in the forum about a program to generate a "MASTERCODE" that will reset the security code. This application only runs in Symbian phones (7650,6600, 3650, etc...) so you'd have to get one like that. But there are also other solutions, just look for them
cheers

Also, in the DCT4 software section you'll find a sticky thread started by mr. GeeZuzz, which has several apps and explanations on how to read the security code on DCT4 handsets. Read the whole thread and try a couple of solutions. It has good info.
Best regards

I'm having a similar problem with my 6230 and a security code, except the phone switches on, I just can't do a master reset or put the phone security lock on.
I've tried both of those programmes on that thread to no avail, I keep getting 'can't find security code' type messages, or 'can't connect' messages. I'm using Irda.

Bingo!! Used the mastercode generator, which I downloaded and installed on my 3650 and it's worked a treat! :D
You just enter the code generated instead of the security code and it lets you set it to whatever you want :)
