Unlocking a Nokia 7210 (Virgin/T-Mobile)

Hi folks, any help here would be appreciated. My 7210 has a Virgin SIM but the screen comes up T-Mobile UK so I assume its locked to t-mobile (?) (I beleieve it is normally ok to use Virgin SIMs in t-mobile phones?)but codes number +1# & +7# haven't worked (using the downloadable calculater from this site). The on-line calc has a GEN field - is this relevant and what should I put in it? Cheers., Dougie.

Yes, it's VERY important. Go to options, set the calc to expert mode, and use custom GEN 33200.

PS: remember you have only five tries, after that only repair shop solution. Use the remain of tries wisely.
