need to unlock 3310 v4,45

I have a 3310 v4.45 has any one out there managed to unlock it useing
nu2000 v1.11b. I have the flash cable on order from
http://www.fonekables.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Nokia_Unlocking_
Solution_69.html I know of someone who tried nokia flash tool and
killed his phone so I am very wary. I have never flashed a phone
before and am basicly looking for some good advice.
