9210e Unlock

Hi all

Anyone know if this phone can be unlocked?
It is simlocked on orange network.
I have read posts for 9210 and 9210i which say to use Mbus and DCT3 unlocking.
I have tried to read the phone with made up Mbus connection but cannot read information from the phone.
I have ordered a connector in case it it is due to a poor connection or I need to use Fbus lead to do this one.
Never unlocked one of thies so any experiences / comments verry welcome.

Have tried again and checked my connection but only get the message Phone not connected with eeprom tools v 3.1 .
Phone is 9210e is this version unlockable this way as DCT3 or have they changed something in this modle.
Maybe its just my dodgy connection or problem with the phone.
I will see when my new phone connector arrives in the next few days and post the results.
Cheers any other sugestions welcome.

open the battery and tel me what is wrotten there? RAE 3, RAE 5 or what?

it is true that i had unlocked 9210 and 9210i not"e"
and it worked only with mbus cable

Number RAE 3N under battery.
Is communicating with this phone via Mbus sometimes difficult?
Maybe this is the problem.

if cable does not work just connect 2 wires on mbus and ground
it will do the trick

Rae 3 - dct 3 for sure, and it can be unlocked with eeprom tools 3.1

Thanks for your support Alinus it finaly worked.
However I could not get the phone to communicate using Mbus only lead (Which works fine on all other phones?).
I eventualy suceded using a dual M/Fbus auto switching lead having got the new 9210 connector end.
Ours not to reason why but it worked for me, Have tried several times just to confirm and It will only work with a dual auto switching lead.
Hope this helps anyone with same problem.

Please explain what you mean by "connecting 2 wires" to MBUS.

just buy a data cabe m/f bus for your 9210...is safer

just spend some time, read and search...

try under 98se...
i heard that some RAE 5 can be unlocked using eeprom tools...and some not. for the ones that can/t be unlocked this way use imei code generator. is cheapt enough
