unlock keypress codes

Hi Everyone!

Can someone give me the codes to input on my phone to see if my phone is locked or not.

Or can someone point me in the right direction please! Thanks and your help is greatly appreciated!

Anyone? I just dont want to ask for the unlock codes and waste all of you generous people precious time if my phone is already unlocked.

I just need to know if my phone is locked first. I don't have another sim card from a different carrier. I just have my own so I thought maybe there's a code that i can in put on my unit to find out if it is locked.
