i have a nokia 7210
i bought a data lead for it, but when i connect it to com port and start nokia pc suite it says there is no phone connected!
it is driving me crazy
please, HEEEEEELLLP!

You probably need a genuine Nokia cable..not cheap but should solve the problem

I have been having this problem.
It's driving me absolutley insane.

Try unplugging all other USB devices
I found that half the time the data cable was conflicting with my mouse >:E
Or try switching USB ports
