O2 Uk Wap & GPRS Stuff

Hi,

I get my new phone in a few days and have been looking at all the apps for the 6600 which am really loooking forward to playing with, i just have one main concern.

All the apps like the version of MSN and stuff all mention using GPRS, that isnt free to me, i get 500 free WAP minutes and would rather use them for my internet related stuff.

Would the app and similar ones still work over WAP?

O2-uk GPRS is free untill the end for January (for pay as you go customers anyway) So it might be smart to use that untill then.
