T29 battery killer........

My t29's problem:
Charging ok, card in, power on, after few minutes the phone power off.
When I charge the phone the back of it, just above the battery, become warm / hot. It is probably power problem but I don't what I must to do in order to save my phone, if it is possible.

Does somebody can help me? Please, I like my T29!!!!!!
