i dont no maybe u know what it is it says system error and does not activate may some on has the file to repaire it
I am experiencing the same problem with Nokia 7650 bluetooth. After working for a while, it started issuing the message: "System Error" whenever I try to activate the Bluetooth functionality in the Connections menu. Any help would be most apreciated. Thank you.![]()
Ok, first lets determine whether it's a software problem or hardware problem.. In standby mode type in *#2820#, you should get a message which will tell you your bluetooth device address. If this box appears empty, it means a Hardware problem, so take it to a NSC, they'll fix it.. If you get a Device Number and your bluetooth isnt working, a simple format of your device will your problem.
Cheers
Hi aussie ! I followed your advice and got an address: 0002ee4e976d. So apparently it's not a hardware problem, right?
But you have to explain what "a simple format of your device..." means.
Is it something I can do by entering a special code? Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm kind of a beginner in these topics... I greatly apreciate your help!
Thank's a lot !
Haha, it's ok, even i was a newbie once..
lol Formattting will remove everything on your phone, from your contacts to all your messages, so backup if you wanna keep the data..
Now to format your phone make sure your phone is fully charged, or is on a reliable charging source..
Now go to the standby screen and key in "*#7370#".
The phone will reboot and will get stuck at the Nokia Logo Screen, jst leave it alone and once the process is finished you'll be prompted to input the date etc..
Do not interupt the formatting process, else you'll fuck up your phone...
Cheers.. All the best..
Let me know how it turns out..
OK, I'll try the "*#7370# solution! But I've heard that if you format the phone it will ask you for a security code... Will the default 12345 be OK?
I also discovered that my firmware is V3.12, which is rather pre-historical. I guess I also need a system upgrade, right?
Thank's a lot for your help, anyway!
Yeah, your firmware is very prehistoric, lol, on my old N7650 i got a firmware revision number of 4.46, thats the latest and it does have quite a few bug fixes.. Yes the default lock code is 12345, should work as long as you haven't changed it..
Cheers
