mofifying ppm

Hi to all group..
Im working to translate a ppm flash and add inside albanian linguage but when i make too many changes the phone get contact service.Is there some program to corect the checksum becose i did try with n-free or ppmsplitfixer but nothing

ppmfixer should work if you didnt add anything just replacing.

nfree sometimes calcs wrong or wont find ppm.

you could send to forum file and then we look at it

So if i just change the words inside run ppmfixer and correct checksums you think that will work?
I will try it tomorow and i will send you the file to see it what's wrong.

But if its written ex. INSERT SIM.....instead of INSERT you cann rename to max 6 letter as INSERT in a 6 letter word...for SIM max 3 letter (no point for that) ...understood??????

First ppm file always starts with ppm text.
this one doest.

But it end normally.

I recoment that you start new project.
Use hexworkshop and put alert insert/delete on.
Then press insert key.

Now you can modify texts without it messes up entire file.

Well this is the flash file from a 3310.
I have modified only some words and the phone has no signal .
I open hex workshop and modified the words in the place of {insert} i put{ vendos} and some other words but allways the same number of characters and then no signal.I did Start nk calc and nokia tool rolis to update faid but nothing,the same problem.No signal.
Any idea?

If phone works ok ie. asks pin code then faid needs to be calculated.
Nkcalc need dejan flasher dos version to work(sometimes)
I use mbusfaid updater. almos all the times.
When imei is changed then i use eepromtool 3

Some (almost all) faid updater wont work with modified flash files.
Loggers based are best but they dont work with all the cases.

Use mbus faid updater, it works.

Please help me with this problem is very important to me becose someone did make it but the translate wasn't ok.
