Unlock E700 on Orange UK

I have a E700 which is locked to Orange UK. Is it possible to unlock E700s by code, or is it a cable job? I've been looking around on the net trying to find out and all the information is a bit inconsistant. I've tried the various codes ppl have listed and not much happens. Could someone confirm if it is possible to unlock the E700 by code? Cheers

your phone will power off and restart this is normal when its powered itself back on replace your sim card unlocked ------enjoy--------

Thanks for the reply. I've already tried that code but the phone doesn;t do anything. It just stays on the screen waiting for me to press call or whatever like with a phone number. I know orange are bastards for locking phones and was wondering if this is gonna be a cable job.

if that code didnt work then it is acable job my friend, you need an s500 cable and software called S500 tools by myky v 2.0, this software will work on E700 unlocking
