    Post Incoming calls on 7610

    Guys!!!

I donn know if it is the right place where i am posting this thread or no?? But wat i now is that all Geeks come here and would watch this thread cause i need a quick response for my querry..

My friend has a Nokia 7610, juz got a new one, and he is juz unable to receive incoming calls from some particular provider.... like outgoings are working pretty fine with the same provider.. but incomings are not working, it says the user is not available..

Lemme know wat we can do regarding this matter, is there any tweak, or apps for this.. The operator is AIRTEL from India..

    Please help, thx in advance..

    Regards
    sachi!!

If outgoings are working fine, then I would say there is something wrong with your simcard not your phone, call your operator and they will sort it out.

    Unhappy

brother that is with every SIm card of that particular service provider.. we had this problem earlier with nokia 6600 even, but then was sorted out by NOKIA customer care ppl. but this time i have you ppl. why do u want me to visit them, they gonna keep my set for 2-3 days.. bad service we have here..

so if there is a solution you guys have, then it is pretty fine, else i have to depart my set from me for 2-3 days..

yeah, looks like he may have 2 lines and doesn't realise which one he is on...
Look for a little 2 on the screen. If there is one there I think you hold down the # button to switch back to line 1

if the same problems occur in the 3 phones you mentioned, the problem lies in (1) the service provider (AIRTEL operator), (2) you're call barring settings, (3) you diverted your calls. Its quite impossible for a brand new phone to have defects like that wherein you can only make outgoing calls but can't answer incoming and that it happened to 3 phones. And don't rush people to help you since you would only be making them impatient. You're the one asking for a favor, they are never oblige to help you in the first place. Give respect.
