how to Unlocking NOKIA 6820 (argentina)

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for someone to help me unlocking a Nokia 6820 for CTI Argentina..
I have no Idea how to Unlock a cellphone..so please have paicence for me..

Go to the Unlock codes section and download nokiafree calc v 3.10. Install it, execute it, go to Options, check the mark of Expert mode.

Then type in your phone *#0000# and read what is displayed on the screen. That is the firmware version and date.

If your firware is dated '03 and backwards use the following settings:
Asic 2
GEN v2
Select the network code from the drop down list

If your firmware is '04 and forward, change the GEN settting to Original.

Generate the set of codes.

Now, turn off your phone, take out the SIM card, turn on, and when it says "Insert SIM" type the seventh code. To get the 'p', the 'w' and the '+', press the asterisk some times, and you will see how it changes to those characters.

Once you insert the last #, a message will be displayed. Pay attention. It can be "sim restriction off", "code error" or "cannot undo restriction".

In the first case, everything is done. In the second, it's a wrong code. In teh third, unfortunatey the phone cannot be unlocked via codes.

The cell phone was provided by the company where I work,...they will give me back in few days... (service provider is changed). But I appriciate your reply and as soon as i do it, I will post the results.

So, where in argentina are you? May be we can meet or something...

Thank you very much for your reply. I asked for the reply about the results because on newer handsets argentinas' providers are using new serials to lock phones, and I have not been able to find a pattern betweet cti, personal and movistar (formerly unifon).

All argentinian providers used to lock with v2 or gtcl-001 even on '04 handsets, but in the middle of '04 they started to use other serials, and, although I've unlocked all with Original, it could be that on newer handsets ('05) they switched serials again. That's why I said "try code seven JUST ONCE", because you have only five opportunities.
