For a few weeks now, I've been doing research to try and find out.. can Linux be installed onto a Nokia Series 60 phone? I have found a ton of sites that shows how to set up Linux to work WITH Symbian based phones, and a HEAP of sites about the new Nokia 770 'tablet', but none dealing with how to install Linux ONTO a Nokia Smartphone. I have found an ARM patch for the newer Linux Kernels, but I still need to find out bootloader info, how to set up the Linux install to work with the keypad, and a few other things.

Is there such a thing as Linux for Symbian? Or would I have to do all this myself. And if I do, where should I begin? I have no experience in C, C++ etc. but am willing to learn enough to get by..

Any help is appreciated, such as documentation, distros that are easy to modify and install etc. stuff like that

Thanks heaps
