    Nokia 6230 Bluetooth problem

    Hi all,

I need a bit of expert help. I have a Nokia 6230 with a bluetooth fault. When I try and select bluetooth on it doesn't do anything just goes back to the menu.

I flashed the latest firmware onto the phone using Twister Gold by Saras and clicked the BT repair (which said repaired) but no change on phone.

Although nice and updated it still has no Bluetooth.

As I am new to flashing etc can anybody suggest something else?

    Thanks in advance

this is a hardware fault i really dont think its software unless your BTID is corrupt, in which case you just write a new one and hope for the best... but if its hardware then its a case of changing a surface mount transistor... if your interested in this then tell me and i will show you the transistor that needs changed... you need a new part, reflowing it wont be good enough mate

    Bluetooth Error

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Not sure if it is worth the soldering work although I do have access to the correct equipment to do it. How easy would it be to get the part?

Would appreciate the info on the part and positioning on the pcb if possible if for nothing more than reference.

Not sure if you saw my post in another forum but as you are one of the best guys here for helping out can you advise the best solution for my server support problem for my Twister Gold. PM if required

    Thanks

    Adam

    Hello,
I have same problem. I allready replaced that part (N131 voltage regulator or something like that) and nothing changed. Did anybody solve this problem?
I think that is software problem. I was looking on the internet and I find out
I need some firmware binary to flash BT. Something like hfw1xxxxx.bin.
Please, does anybody know where could I get it?
    thx

Try reflowing chips N130 and N365. Use liquid flux. Not worth buying a hot air station if its for one phone tho.

N130 yes, it could solve the problem. I already did, but nothing. I have also tried hot air station you said .
But N365? N365 is radio chip.
