Lpt 2 nokia cable

Hello ppl,

Has anyone made their own LPT 2 nokia flash cable (dejan's scheme).

I tried to make it myself , got all the parts ,except the hex invertor .
I got 74F14N instead of 74HC14, in the shop they told me the logic is the same.
But mye cable doesn't seem to work with Dejan's flasher
i tried 8 different f_loader.bin and still get the same :
Phone not connected TX=0 ;
Does that mean that 74F14N can't be used in stead of 74HC14.
Please somebody help me with this .

You MUST use HC or HCT series chip.
Ooops, turn your LPT port to EPP mode from BIOS.

And it cannot work in lpt2......
only rolis 4.77 or 4.78 can work on lpt2

Hi once,

I've had the same problem with Internet schemas, and even using 74HC14. I think it's the way that pins are counted in plug (DB25). Because I do not change any BIOS config, and buying Dejan LPT cables, worked first time.
I've studied electronics, and I'm sure of what I've done, checked at least 10 times without any success on several PC's. Perhaps one day I will open these cables (soonest possible to make MCU and PPM dejan box !!!) and check what was wrong...

This scheme is correct. I made this box few months ago and it was working correctly. I works only with dejan flasher 1.0b! And you cant change MCU software version by it....

Scheme is 100% working. Was made using soviet logic, connected to LPT1 in BIOS settings for lpt port changed to SPP. Working
