    Hi m8

Thanx for reply, below is exactly wot happened:

1 I got the phone of a m8, had no probs with it while it was just a T68
2 Took it 2 sony erricson centre (carephone warehouse) to get upgraded from t68 to t68i
3 all went ok was using it for about a mth no probs, when all of a sudden couldnt make calls anymore
4 checked with a m8 of mine and he says phone has been blacklisted when he checked in the store he works in
5 The wierd thing is i can still send txt messages , have checked on the locks and they show all open, tried a diffrent sim card and the same there, cant call out or receive calls but can send txts
6 im on vodaphone pay as u talk , tried O2 and orange same effects as above
7 my m8 said the same as u if it had been blacklisted i wouldnt be able 2 send txt messages

    Any help would be appreciated

    Regards

your phone is black listed, you will also be able to get on-screen balance (*#1345#) and your number (*#100#), I have a T68i with the same symptoms and it is blacklisted. this also happens with nokia 8310's on voda too, dont know why I think its something to do with the data packet size, if its small enough the network wont ask for the phones IMEI and messages go through fine.

dont work on any other network though. strange.
