Thread: battery simulation

    battery simulation

    I have problem while powering up nokia phone (3310/8210) using Lab Power Supply. I know it use about 3.6V but when I apply it to the unit, I can not turn it on. I believed it because of the other two center terminal (BSI & BTEMP). How do I simulate this battery to make it on? I already measure the voltage at the normal batt and here the result. (attachment) Anyone have the actual battery schematic?

    Thanks! But before I try this please advise me if I'm wrong.

    in service manual, it says;

    for BSI = Phone has 150kohm pullup resistor (that mean connect to +v side) and i must simulate 22kohm pulldown resistor (to the gnd).

    for BTEMP = Phone has 100kohm pullup resistor and i must simulate 1kohm pulldown resistor to the gnd.

    Am I right or I am right
