3510i Signal / network gone?!

Argh! got a Nokia 3510i on O2 UK - was working fine for the first day - then suddenly its lost its signal - not damaged it in any way- the Sim works fine in an old 3210 and 8210 so its not a signal
strength problem, and no other O2 sims work on the 3510i.

Its got to be the phone...any ideas?? (apart from take it back to the shop which is my next move!!)

It's a new phone yes?

Then don't waste your time trying to fix it, take it back to the shop and get a new one, it'll save you time, effort, and possibility of invalidating your warranty (say if you take the thing apart)
