8850 Fault...............

I have recently come across 2 Nokia's this one being an 8850 which when you speak through the mic you hear it straight throught the speaker & the other person cannot hear anything?? is there any engineers who can give me a few thing's to look for?

i have come across a few of these and i would have to say that is is a problem that cannot be fixed without replacing some certain hard to replace components.
