gprs cable for nokia help

hello . anyone knows which cable i should use for a gprs connection for nokia phones.will ordinary data cable suit or i need to use some special cable, will ir cable work and give me good transfer speed.

depends on a lot of things USB is quickest as far as I know.

What model and network is it?

my computer does not have a ir port so i have to look for usb or serial to irda convertor . got any schematics.
