    Homemade Serial to PS/2 adaptor?

Hi! I've got a set of nokia flash cables with the PS/2 connector and LPT end.
I've seen an adaptor for sale that lets you use the heads with a serial cable so that the heads become data cables.
Does anyone know if its possible to make the serial adaptor yourself?
I've got the male PS/2 connector, a 9 pin Com port connector and the wire to connect it all up.
Does anyone have any idea which pins I'd need to join up to make it work?
Cheers for any help anyone can offer!

Nope - IC is needed (usually Max232)
Would be easier and cheaper buying the converter..
