unlocking

can i unlock my s105
i have heard that the unlocking works only in 50 % cases
and if it dont work then the phone become useless
is it so ?
and its alread 10 month i have bought the phone can tmobile provide me the unlock code after 1 year ?

dunno, about T-Mobile, but most providers will happily give you the unlocking code, once you're contract is over... or you've had you pay as you go fone long enough... Virgin mobile will give ya the unlock codes once u spend £30 of top up...
