A800 Data Cable

i've got a S200 datalink cable, which i try to link up with an A800..
seems like the software couldn't find the phone..

are there different cables for different samsung phones? S200 cables cannot be used on A800?

on my S200 cable there's a switch between Data and D/L .. what does this do?

Thw switch is for changing modes...

Data = things like flashing and unlocking

D/L (download) = uploading images and ringtones onto the phone...


Most people use the T100 cable on the A800... but if it dont work, straight away.... then u need to mod the T100 cable....

by default the cable is switched to Data, which i can use to interact with EasyGPRS software to upload ringtones and images.. i try switching to D/L mode, the software couldn't detect my phone..

which is opposite of what u proposed...
