nokia 6610(no power...software related?)

help anyone... my unit is a nokia 6610, i tried switching my SIM cards, tried to turn the phone back on but it doesn't anymore.... the battery works fine...i had it check by a technician and he said it's software related..it was too expensive...what shoul i do?

send it to repair to a nokia centre. explain to them what the problem is, and they will probably reinstall the software with the latest version. if this doesnt work, you have a bad phone!
