you need to do a factory reset with a data cable
codes will not do a reset on the security code
you need Fbus software by Maestro, and it can be found here in the forum

Is there anyway to recover my current security code?
And excuse for my ignorance, what are the unlock code requested here used for then?
Thanks

the code just allows the phone to be used with another networks sim card
there is no way to read the security code only reset it

I see, thank for explaining it to me.
I guess I will just have to bring it to Nokia's service center then.
Thanks alot for your help. Appreciate your quick replies too.
This is a good Nokia phone resource forum, there are so much
information being shared. I would certainly recommend this site to my
friends.
Keep up the good work. Cheers for now.
