    Question unlock code for nokia 8290

    Hey! Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock this phone with a code? I just ordered one from ebay and it was not unlocked, contrary to advertisement. I have seen info posted around the internet that suggests that the only way to unlock this phone is with a data cable (which, of couse is not offered by nokia.) At the same time, I have seen people selling unlock codes for this phone on ebay. Whats the truth?

    this is a dct3 phone...and can be unlocked by code remotely without a cable.

    look for the Unique DCT3 calc software on the dct3 part of the forum
