I've unlocked my gx10i, is this supposed to happen?

I used the COM port Data Cable, not USB. I successfully unlocked my phone but when I put a Virgin Mobile SIM in the phone it says T-Mobile UK on the screen. My Vodafone SIM still says Vodafone and my O2 SIM says O2, its just a problem with the Virign SIM. Anybody know why this happened.

  2. The answer is simple. Virgin is only a virtual network. They have no masts or system of there own, they just use the T-Mobile system. Hence why in some phones the sim will show t-mobile as that is the network it is using. You are still using Virgin, but the phone cannot see the difference in the networks.

Yeah it still works fine and I can make calls and stuff, its just annoying that it says T-Mobile. Is there any way to fix this problem at all?

mmm I think no... but this is not really a problem... because like unlockclips.com explained u, virgin is a virtual network which use one of the principals of UK : T-mobiles
Even if u've bought a "virgin" mobile it will be the same thing...
