    Nokia 6210 - External alarm/bell

Okay, some one must be clever enough to help on this one.

I want to connect an external alarm/buzzer/bell to my Nokia. I no longer need it as a mobile so it can be fixed in one location.

    Anyway…..
Either using the plug off a ‘hands free, microphone/earpiece’ or wired in direct to the phone, connect up something like a small relay to switch an alarm circuit of some sorts.

    So…
Anyone know which plug contacts to use, or where to wire to inside the phone. And what voltage etc to use. Or what ideas has anyone else got?

Just been doing some lateral thinking…

As the 6210 is fitted with vibration alert (little motor with off set weight) I could disconnect the vibe motor and use its supply to feed a small relay.

Just had a look at the motor which has been glued in to position, but there’s no recognisable markings to indicate its voltage, does anyone know what it may be please?
