6230i Customised to Vodafone - remove welcome?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I am unable to find an answer.

I have unblocked my new Vodafone 6230i and my Orange sim now works. However, how can I stop or change the ""welcome to Vodafone"" and ""Goodbye from Vodafone"" when it starts or shuts down?

get it flashed with unbranded firmware

use mobimb, you can change the startup and shutdown screens with that.

or if you have a newer firmware (like 5.35) you can access the 'hidden' folder on the 6230 with the nokia software. the hidden folder will have the startup and shutdown files, you can replace them with something else but they have to be the same file name and same resolution.
