    How to recognize a FBUS/MBUS cable?

    So, with the flasher (parallel) cable I got also the data (serial) cable, but I realized and discovered there two types of this one: FBUS/MBUS or just MBUS. So, can anyone tell me please how can I know what type is mine (and what is better), since it seems some programs don't work with both them?
