So far, you can't unlock all Microcell (Cityfone included) phones remotely. You'll have to go out and get a cable unlock. So far I've seen in VAncouver is $50. Contact me if you want to know where.

I suggest you not to buy the cable, but go out to some Asian places (Unipage, Simpro, Pagerworld) that does unlocking. Toronto I heard it's $20 to unlock which is cheaper than buying a cable and saves you a lot of trouble and time in downloading software even after you purchase the cable. Hope that helps.
