Formmating Nk3650!

I've found that the best way to format (after searching this forum) the Nk 3650 is to use the code *#7370#.
But I was curious regarding the key combination way: "3 + * + Green call"
Unfortunatly it wasn't very easy
First I removed the Mem card, and the sim card
Next conected the power cord to the phone
finally the key combination and power on
Result: For a brief moments it displayed the popup asking for the security code, but when I was trying to input it the error message popup appeared saying to introduce the sim card
Is there any way to delay/deactivate the sim card verification so I can input the security code
By the way, I have tried several other ways like not taking the sim card but in this case the key combination doesn't work, and the phone startsup normaly

Second Question:
My operator is Vodafone Portugal, and the phone brings in it's rom the defenitions for the GPRS and MMS conections. So when ever i format the phone, I don't lose my connections.
The problem is that they also removed some menus from my phone, especially the second line option. So I can't use it.
They also bloked the favourites, so I can't change some icons.
And they also keep telling me that they don't use the PIN 2 functions, but their sim cards suport the fixed dialing option, and they refuse to tell me the PIN 2 code, is there any way to extract it?
