ok i have just installed my 7650 modem drivers but can someone tell me how to connect.

i am on aol and my standard phone line conects with telewest dial up number 120. ( its free phone)
how do i get my phone to connect to the internet ?
can someome confirm this. > orange said to me i can use my phone to use my modem and if using a freephone number i will not incure any charges of orange or aol ?
