using 7650 without slider

anyone know how to:

1) select a name from the contacts without opening the slider i.e. puching in a character

2) locking the keypad without pulling down the slider

just want to ease the load on the poor slider

1. you know that u have a joystick?
2. pressing the power-button shortly. a menu will appear with an option "lock keypad"

It's called soft keypad. Very nice app but with some minor bugs.

yes one bug: can't use joystick in taskmanager(pressing doesn't work)

and another thing:
you can press the joystick even when the keypad is locked!
