To All The 7650 Gurus

got a 7650 says "application closed, memory full" when u try to get into messages and wont take pictures.infact no function works except to make calls and receive calls.anybody has any idea what could be wrong and how to solve it???

close some applications. your ram is full. or just restart the phone

Like the man says, you need to delete some other applications before you can continue my friend!!

You have used up your capacity allowance and system will not allow further file saving until you delete something!!

when you opened an app, REALLY close it after using it

press and hold the menu button to check if any app is open beside the telephone function ...

its like u dont understand,i mean nothing works. U can get into app manager & u'll see wats supposed to be using up the memory but wat u'll see is application 0bytes,memory in use 40986kb,messages 30kb,pictures 0B,free memory 500bytes e.t.c
but u cant delete any messages or close any applications cos the fone doesnt allow u 2.anything u do it simply says "MEMORY FULL"
i mean the fone doesnt allow u to do anything at all,even if u restart the fone a hundred times.& it'll always say 'u have 4 new messages', when it comes on no matter what simcard u 've got inserted.i know its got something to do with my rams been full but i really dont know how to free it up.
Wenmi,blackfly..any of u guys ,i'd be really glad if someone could take time & lists steps i should follow to free the fones rams.None of your suggestions has worked just yet but i'm thinking its a software problem cos i've seen lots of guys with same problem too.

1-turn you mobile off
2-restart your mobile again and continue pressing on ABC button on your keypad(this is supposed to stop any startup program in your memory)

3-try to remove ur programs using Manager...if not try removing Midi files or any programs using eFile manager or any other to free up more memory

4-dont turn ur mobile off.....use *#7370# to format it(u will loose all ur data)...dont touch any key during format(it might take 5 minutes)

in doing *#7370# (hard reset) just be sure to have a full battery because not doing so may cause you headached

reason: when not in full battery mode, u might encounter (battery emtpy) causing the reset/reboot not complete. Therefore you cannot turn on your mobile phone

some says you can troubleshoot by pressing (abc) button and at the same time the On button...
havent tried that though...


the only option would be, to bring it to the nearest nokia center in your place
