    nokia repair and speed up

Is there any Nokia phone software that can fix or repair problems.

I know i can reformat but i want a repair program if there is one or a program that will speed up.

I know disk doubler and stack et c but they save space and not defrag????

    any ideas

The best thing you have is Stacker 3.00 with the option compress memory, and SmartLaucher Taskman also has it.

    so best speed up is

    stacker memory compression

what 'fix it ' software is there

I cant imagine compressign the memory will speed things up... slow down if anything, more CPU power being used to compress and uncompress the data as its reading it.

and as for 'fix' what exactly do you need to fix?

Well, a simple way to 'defrag' your phone (if it, indeed does get fragmented) is to copy all the files off of it (via BT, or whatever) - delete them all from your phone, and then copy them back.
However, since all the files on the phone are stored in relatively fast memory, any fragmentation which might occur would make little or no effect on loading speed of the phone - since there is no disk to move around on, its all done in memory - so a defrag program would seem pretty pointless.

i mentioned defrag as common word to windows users

i meant a program that could say

    fix incorrect paths

uncompleted files erased from memory eg diskdoubler needs this function

delete unused files and folder etc

eg a nokia version of norton disk doctor

reformat seems a bit risky as i have heard it doesn't always solve the problems

eg once reformatted it never operates properly again
