    Unhappy connection to mobile

    can anyone help
    i have a L i n k c a b l e
    Nokia 3210/3210e Data Link Cable (M/F Bus)
    the problem is the computer can not find phone
    when using computer can not find phone
    direct cable in or hyperterminal
    i have downloaded lots of software none fines the phone
    what have i done wrong??????????????
    i'm going bold trying

    cable will only fix to com port 1. would not work on other ports
    tried them all
    modem on com 2. this works find
    have downloaded logomanager,knok
    now need outbox in messages??????

    What kind of programs do you use?
    Try using Logomanager... it's the simplest.
    Remember to change the settings for cable connection and not IrDA.
    And in any other program... maybe you're just using the wrong COM port?.. Try COM2.
    This is the first things I would check if my cellphone was ok.
    If your cellphone has a problem then things can be a bit more difficult than that.
    Anyway..

    Try it out and let me know.

    try this, only suggestion

    is your com port funtioning,
    do you use you com port with other interface before this,if you do,maybe some device driver have locked the com port,try to remove the driver and restart your pc.
    is your cable work with in other pc/ other 3210,try it in other pc /3210.
    use logomanager, or logomanager cable testing tool to test it.
