Using the excellent software available through this site I have been able to download the firmware in my 5110, change some text to rude words and put it back into the phone and restored the phone to full function. Now I would like to do something more interesting; I should like to modify the calculator program in the 5110 so as to add a function. For example, it would be I think very challenging to modify the calculator so that one can store a constant (for example 314159) in phone book memory 33 (just as one does when using Net Monitor function 17) and then modify the calculator so that it can access and use the constant in calculation.
Can anybody help me to get started? For example, at what address in the 5110-530 full flash MCU might I find the calculator code? And if you know that, HOW did you find it?
