3310 dead but alive

ow can i fix 3310 water damage will only switch on if holding down on button while inserting battery please help

A friend of mine has got in the sea with his 3310. The phone is now fucked! I don't think it can be fixed.

i have one also i dropped it on water and totally dead but my friend fix it.

he opened my 3310 and he cleaned the pcb board.

first. He brush the pcb board with thinner and let it dry. then my phone have power but no signal.

second. He put flux and used hot air and it makes my signal up.

thats all! now im using it .....

I upgrade my cellphone to 3315...

just from experience saltwater will basically KILL anything electrical because of the salt residue that'll short everyfin out i think

i had a 3210 given to me that had been dropped in the loo when my mate was pissed - i simply cleaned pcb and 100& work

also my dad told me of a guy at the pub that he was pissed and put his fone FULLY submerged in his beer and took it out shook it and it worked fine - hard to believe but true!

How can I open the phone? Whan kind of screwdriver do I need? Do you have any picture?

all you need is a small torx screwdriver a good car shop should sell themtake care with screws though as they are soft as sh..

use t6 x 50 screw driver.
