What network code are you using? The one that seems to show up on another phone of mine is 310-410.

first, as there are new cingular phone, which are not locked at all, please try a simcard from t-mobile or att or any other operator except cingular, enter pin code and post what phone says. If it searches for network, it's not locked, if it says sim card not accepted, it's locked

please post results, so that we can help other people, too

DON'T hear to this newbie, he knows nothing, but only calculated codes for 31015 and 31041. DON'T try it.

First, ckeck phone with simcard f´rom t-mobile or att or anything othet than cingular

if phone says "sim card not accepted", then buy serila datacable (no usb) and read out configuration key with bwinlock

as your have five tries only, in your own interest, DON'T believe newbies!!!

    Hey, guess what?

Ok, I found my T-Mobile SIM (almost cancelled the service, glad I didn't) and put it in my 6200.

It did not ask for anything, it just simply worked!

Thanks for the help, I am a mere newbie myself here. So what does this mean? Am I already unlocked? That would be nice, as I am already three tries into the unlock code attempts.

What do I do next if not?

Also, while I have the Cingular chip in the phone, I am not able to get the phone to grab the signal from T-Mobile where I am sitting. When I have the T-Mobile SIM in the phone, the signal is great.

Thanks again for all the help. I'll probably be around here for a while...
