Siemens Unlock via IMEI

Does anyone know how to remove the "network lock" on Siemens phones in general, specifically C56, by just the IMEI and other info? (I know Nokia does this well -- worked great on my 6310i... thanks!)

I bought another phone on eBay, and I don't plan on using it very long (for my wife) when my nokia gets here. But in the meantime, I want to play around with unlocking it -- wthout spending more money on this mediocre phone. In other words, I'm not buying cables or even unlock if it's gonna cost more than 5 bucks.

I like this hobby, so I'll take the time to learn codes and how to unlock, but I'm just not moneybags to be spending all kinds of dough. Too bad the C56 doesn't have infrared.

Better just use datacable and freia software..

It is possible with imei.. but not many or none people are offering it..
