BLZ installer won't see games.

Hello there,

Thanks in advance to anyone that might help here...

I just got a new nokia 6600 game and i have obtained several n-gage roms in .blz format, also i have the .blz installer.

I bought a nice new 128mb MMC which the phone sees fine and i have done a fresh format on it.

My problem is ocurring after i have installed the BLZ SIS file, the application installs fine because i get the wee icon in my menu. When i transfer the game file to the root of my MMC, the blz installer app never sees the game file.

Thats about it really, and i have tried moving the file to 'other files' folder on the MMC.

Can anyone suggest why the BLZ installer application is not seeing the .blz game file i am copying to the root of my MMC?, It did this with the standard 32MB MMC supplied with the nokia phone also.

for it to find the file, it has to be in the main e:, so it looks like tis. e:/xxx.blz

E:\ is the name of my memory card, this is true.

However, it does not see it even if the file resides as you state (e:\puyo.blz)

Puzzling isnt it.

its either not a valid blz file, or there are too mani stuff in mmc, like mp3... etc... try another puyopop.

It would be fair to assume that the puyo.blz is a valid .blz file. My source verifies that he has had it working, also my MMC is freshly formatted so its not a space issue either.

Well i tried again, but still no luck.

BLZ installer is installed fine and also, games transferred to root of MMC.

Nothing appears in BLZ installer app.

I really cant see what the problem is, ive followed the what seem to be rather simple instructions to no avail. Is there anything else i should be installing? latest firmware, any other apps?
