Best way to encode a movie?

Ok, I got my 128mt memory card today, and I'd like to encode a movie to the phone. So, what do you think is the best format to do it?

.Rm files with Helix are quite good quality, but they can't be watched in fullscreen.

Are 3gp files worse quality than rm? And will the movie play fine when played in fullscreen? What is the best program for encoding? I have PVAuthor, but I don't know what kind of settings I should use.

Mobiclip files are good quality, but can they be made any smaller? Because the files get really big even if I reduce the quality meter a lot.

RM files have the potential to be played fullscreen, but at the moment RealONE or equivalent dont support it. Ive been told though the next version will have the ability to play rm files in fullscreen - something to look forward to.

3GPP as you say can be played fullscreen providing a compatable application is used. I use PVplayer to play my 3GPP files in fullscreen. Both rm and 3gpp are close to each other in quality, but i think rm plays much better - not as jerky as 3gpp.

I use Canopus procoder to encode my films, but nokias mulitmedia converter works also. Canopus should be used to create rm files and nokia should be used to create 3gpp files.

With canopus to get a good quality full film use these settings: basic->real video->Dual IDSN->70 bitrate->width=width of phone screen->height=height of phone screen->framerate=15->audio=16KB/s

A 90 minute film should equate to roughly 50MB and will produce a very watchable film!
