hey to all ya aussies there im new to this gprs/wap thing and all i know is it can use internet. i was wonderin if u guys have been able to connect on the net with vodafone, and how much it costs.
im on red sim prepaid and when i goto services i can connect to some websites its kinda cool, i think im getting it for free or sumfin(like a bug) coz i check my credit and it looks like im not getting charged.

the voda site sez there is no wap for prepaid.
but my big beef is how do i get opera to use the internet, it doesnt work wen i try to connect voda live

It doesn't? When you said "WAP", did you mean WAP GSM CSD or WAP over GPRS?

I never tried Optus Prepaid GPRS through Opera browser.

I'm just wondering, but is there a proper crack for Opera? If there isn't, I'm not using it.

im not sure about the new version but, there is one for older versions try searching opera_full_n6600.zip on irc.

there is also another browser called doris but havent tried.
i also can not connect any apps that use internet like avec radio, wirless irc.
Only the nokia services browser works.
ive even went to the nokia site and got emailed the settings for wap/gprs and mms.
mms seems to be working
