if it is a nokia then you take the sim card out normally, the network lock is in the software of the phone.

I've tried all the 7 codes and none of them worked. What am I doing wrong? I keep getting a code error. I've also tried it with the SIM card in and nothing. Do I need the cable to unlock it now or what?
